AART

A.A.R.T-Artist Acknowledging Real Talent.
Today a fake artist is having an exhibition and it pains my heart to think that it will be a success- but obviously, because he worked with a real artist Thabang Machaba- it has to be a success.

This guy called Kudzi Chiurai hails from Zimbwabwe and has an exhibition called YellowLines that will be running from today and moving to OrbetContemporary in Melrose arch(check out www.obertcontemporary.com). He did what you would call- if you were being honest to yourself- A COLLABORATION, with Thabang, but intentionlly didn't mention his help on his interview, on the net and even on the book they printed for the exhibition.

People like that don't deserve to be termed artist but opportunists who use other people to make their name. His highly priced paintings which include potraits of Mugabe, Zuma,Thabo Mbeki and Winnie Mandela are loved by art buyers- yet the don't know that th person who painted those potraits is Thabang!

respect to Thabang- the real artist- and your day will come!
